Privacy Policy

We're a small family business. We only collect what we need to give you a quote and do the work, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote, we get what you type into the form:

• Your name, phone number and email
• Your property address
• The services you're interested in and any notes you add
• How you found us: which flyer, sign or card you scanned, or the site that linked you here

When you call or email us, we keep your number or address and what you tell us, so we can follow up.

When you visit the site, our web host keeps standard server logs (like your IP address, browser type and the pages you opened) for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

• To call or email you with your quote and answer your questions
• To schedule and do the work you hire us for
• To send you a confirmation email when you ask for a quote
• To see which flyers and signs bring people to the site, so we know where to put them

We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

Text messages

If you give us your cell number, we may text you about your quote, scheduling, appointment reminders and the work we're doing for you. We'll only send offers or promotions by text if you've said that's okay, and you never have to agree to promotional texts to hire us.

• Reply STOP at any time to stop getting texts. We'll send one last text to confirm.
• Reply HELP, or call (631) 213-9899, if you need help.
• How often we text depends on your service schedule. Message and data rates may apply.

We never sell or share your cell number or your permission to text you with anyone else for their own marketing. We only share them with the services that help us send the texts.

Services that help run the site

A few outside companies handle parts of the site for us. They only get what they need to do their job:

• Our web host runs the website.
• An email delivery service sends your quote request to us and your confirmation email to you.
• Google reCAPTCHA checks the quote form for spam bots. It's covered by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Google Fonts supplies the lettering on the site, so your browser connects to Google to load it.

Visit stats and ads

We may use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to see whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to quote requests. Meta may also use it to show our ads to people who have visited this site. These tools use cookies and may collect your IP address, device and browser info, and the pages you visit. We don't send them what you type into the quote form.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on, control ad tracking in your Facebook ad settings or Google ad settings, use the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out, or block cookies in your browser settings. The site still works if you do.

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There's no common standard for it yet, so the site doesn't respond to it. The opt-outs above still work.

Your browser's memory

The quote form saves what you've typed in your browser for that visit, so a reload doesn't wipe it. It's cleared when you send the form or close the tab, and it never leaves your device until you press send.

When we might share it

Besides the services above, we'd only share your information if the law requires it (like a court order), to protect our customers, our crew or the business from fraud or harm, or if AKP & Sons is ever sold or merged, in which case the new owner would keep following this policy.

Keeping it safe

The whole site uses a secure connection (https), and only the people who handle quotes and scheduling can see your details. No website or email can be 100% secure, but we take reasonable care and keep only what we need.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and customer details for as long as we need them to serve you and keep normal business records. If you'd like us to delete your information, just ask.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we have about you at any time. Email or call us and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us their information, let us know and we'll delete it.

Links to other sites

This site may link to other sites, like our Facebook and Instagram pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for what they collect.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
